LGBTQIA+ Clients
Finding a therapist who truly understands and reflects your lived experience as a queer or trans person can be challenging. I offer LGBTQIA+ counseling that is affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in connection. Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating relationships, healing from trauma, or simply trying to make sense of life, you deserve support that centers your full, authentic self.
With many years of experience supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and adults, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work. I’ve walked alongside clients through coming out, accessing gender-affirming care, navigating family rejection, and building strong, authentic relationships. I understand the beauty and complexity of queer and trans lives, and I hold space for both joy and hardship.
My practice is grounded in queer joy, community care, and the belief that you are already whole. LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy is more than just being welcoming; it’s an active, informed, and respectful approach that celebrates your identity, challenges oppressive systems, and centers your voice.
What We Can Explore Together:
- Gender identity and sexual orientation
- Coming out or choosing not to
- Navigating relationships, polyamory, or chosen family
- Healing from religious trauma or family rejection
- Internalized homophobia or transphobia
- Queer joy, identity pride, and community connection
- Coping with minority stress, microaggressions, or systemic oppression
- Mental health support for anxiety, depression, and life transitions
Whether you're questioning, transitioning, or deeply rooted in your queer experience, I meet you with compassion, respect, and curiosity. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
